Quality Assurance Deputy Director
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assures quality products and processes by establishing and enforcing quality standards and testing materials and products
- Establishes quality and reliability standards by studying product and consumer requirements with other members of management and with production operators, technicians, and engineers.
- Lead safety, product and packaging quality
- Ensure food safety practices IQM (Integrated Safety and Quality Management Systems) requirements are maintained
- Serve as the plant’s primary liaison within all initiative that support quality assurance
- Responsible for managing internal and external audits
- Data analysis and process improvements
- Compliance and record keeping of quality control, testing, sampling and sanitation activities
- Monitor microbiological program, analysis of product and process samples
- Budget, purchasing and inventory management
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor and Master Degree in Food Chemistry or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance for the food and beverage industry is an advantage
- Experience in managing a team is an advantage
- Experience and high knowledge for Food Safety Programs, HACCP, FSSC22000
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- English knowledge at business level
